Message from Principal’s desk ….

“What is really needed to make democracy function is not knowledge of facts, but right education”.

                                                                                                            Mahatma Gandhi

We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on one’s own feet

                                                                                                            Swami Vivekananda

I am glad that Government First Grade College, Yelahanka is one of the top institutions catering higher education with maximum student strength among GFGC’s of Karnataka. Right from the inception, highly qualified fraternity of the college is striving to bring academic excellence of the students along with the holistic development of an individual as its priority.

Our institution believes that, true meaning of education is nothing but the overall personality development of a student. Hence at our college, we have created an ideal environment for any seeking mind by providing both curricular and extra-curricular activities in an appropriate ratio. Added to this, students are molded strongly with a proper training of soft skill. We encourage and nurture the innovative minds by conducting specialized technical sessions and providing hands on training in the laboratories.

Upgrading the available facilities for changing situations is taken as a priority and hence an initiative has been taken to digitalize the class rooms. Placement is considered to be of prime importance and therefore institution has joined its hand with reputed companies and systematic training and placements are conducted consistently. Thus the main mission of the college is to provide quality education to all the sectors of the society equally. We strongly believe that all this can be successfully implemented with the active participation of the parents.
