About Library

The Sir M. Vishweshwaraiah library came into existence with the establishment of the college in the year 1968. In the year 2010, the library was shifted to the independent library building to serve the user community. In the midst of its excellent setup of academic activities, the library acts as a nerve center catering to the needs of the students, researchers and faculty members of the Arts, Science and commerce and management and other humanities departments. The SirMVGACC, Bhadravathi library has been shaped as a center of excellence for academic and research pursuits, keeping it open to the changes brought about by information Technology. Today the library is housed in an independent building. To fulfill the vision and Mission of our institution, beautiful library was established with initial collection of 2000 books and now it is rich with more than 30,000 books in the subject of Arts, Commerce, and Mnagement and also all the books have been automated by using Easylib library management system. To broaden and enrich the students’ quality in gaining relevant knowledge, our library is providing more than 25 regional and national journals in specific areas and Magazines along with the subscription to INFLIBNET N-LIST E-Resources.

The college library has a Three different sections with 200 seating capacity, which includes Circulation and Stock area, Staff Reference Area, Reading Room Area.
