The VISL and MPM managements had taken the Bhadra College in 1975. In 1976 the college was shifted to the new campus in New Town, Bhadravathi , the VISL was magnanimous in its gesture of donating the entire property worth not less than five crores to the college which was originally meant to house its apprentice training school. The Bhadra College thus was taken over , renamed as Sir.M.Visveswaraya Arts , Commerce and Science College . The campus is well facilitated by a tar road and possesses a well laid out sprawling garden. A fountain in its midst adds to the beauty of its serene atmosphere. In 1976-77 , B.Sc course was introduced along with science optional at the PUC level with Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics , Botany and Zoology as the science subjects. Laboratories for practical classes were also added to complete the scenario. |
