 About Us

      The Government First Grade College,Shikaripura was established in 1980-81 with the main intention of making degree education accessible to the students of Shikaripura Taluk. Earlier they had to go to distant places in order to fulfill their aspirations for higher education. It was beyond the reach of common people. Therefore, the educationists, political leaders and the right thinking people of Shikaripura made consorted effort to bring a Govt. First Grade College. As a result, the dream of getting a degree college at Shikaripura was materialized.
