Strengths:

  • The College is located in the area of 88 Acres of land in the vicinity of B-B Road, Shahapur and enjoys excellent natural lighting and ventilation.
  • The College has well experienced, highly qualified and dedicated faculty members. The Alumni students of the college are well settled in their profession and some of them in Media, national level sportsmen and in Government administrative post.
  •  Alumni of this college are Academicians, Politicians, Teachers, Lecturers, Management members of educational institutions and public servants in various departments. Some of the present faculty members are professors are former students of this college.
  • The College has well equipped Computer lab and  science laboratories for Science subjects
  • The College has well established library consists of 38645 references and text books.
  • The college installed a reverse osmosis water plant to provide safe drinking water to the students and staff members with and Good cafeteria to quench the taste buds of the students.
  • A separate ladies room with all amenities is provided.
  • The College has NSS, Red Cross, Scots and guides Rovers and ranger units including a girls unit.

Weaknesses:

  •  As a large number of students are learning and most of them depend on transport facility but it’s not up to the mark.
  • Lack of computer and licenses software
  • Obsolete equipment and machines

Opportunities:

  • As the college has a large campus area, there is a wide scope for constructing new buildings for Library, NCC and recreation for staff and students.
  • The College has opportunities to start new for add-on courses in UG and PG certificate courses.
  • The college has scope to motivate for research aspirations for the students and faculty members
  • Getting more PG courses in the home town

Additional Opportunities:

  • To increase computer literacy among faculty members.
  • To provide bigger space for Library reading room.

Challenges:

  • To start new add-on course and certificate courses.
  • Motivating and encouraging the students to participate in Extra and Co-curricular activities.
  • Imparting training in communication computer skills in most of the Arts students of this rural and backward area.
