In the Indian Constitution, OBCs are described as socially and educationally backward classes (SEBC), and the Government of India is responsible to ensure their social and educational development. Our institution formed OBC Committee as a part of social responsibility to help other backword class students.

The Scheduled Castes(SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) are officially designated groups of most disadvantaged socio-economic groups in India. The terms are recognized in the Constitution of India. To effectively implement the safeguards built into the Constitution and other legislation, the Constitution under Articles 338 and 338A provides for two statutory commissions: The National Commission for Scheduled Caste and the National Commission for Scheduled Tribe. The chairpersons of both commissions sit ex officio on National Human Rights Commission. To fulfil social responsibility and to help other backword class students our institution has SC/ST Committee

The cell is one of the mandatory cell/committees of our institution. To provide convenience to the students, they are allowed to lodge grievances related to campus, class rooms, cleanliness, administration, study or any other issues from which they suffer.  Cell try to provide best possible solutions within the limits of it. Students are encouraged to lodge complaints either in the form of writing or orally. After lodging the complaints cell take necessary steps to solve the issue

Ragging is an evil activity or action of human beings which spoils career and lives. Ragging has ruined countless innocent lives and careers. In order to eradicate it, Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 887 of 2009, passed the judgement wherein guidelines were issued for setting up of a Central Crisis Hotline and Anti-Ragging database. Government developed web pages, provided toll free numbers and email facility to help the students and to create awareness about importance of anti-ragging. In order to ensure ragging free campus, our institution has established anti-ragging cell

  • To make students aware about anti-ragging
  • To observe students behaviour and record the complaints if necessary
  • To provide information about anti-ragging Web portal, Toll Free number and email which they can use to safeguard themselves from ragging.
  • To infuse confidence among students to speak about anti-ragging incidents if any
  • To display posters of anti-ragging to create awareness





To ensure women empowerment, gender neutral atmosphere and to prevent sexual harassment in the college campus, Women empowerment and prevention of sexual harassment cell was established. The main intention of the cell is to eliminate the discrimination and all forms of violence against women and girl child. It provides platform to share and discuss the issues which they hesitate to speak up. Cell helps female students to develop confidence to face their lives under any circumstance
