| Lal Bahadur Shastri Government First Grade College, established on 13th August 1993 is committed to impart quality education to students to meet global challenges. The institution is passing through a transition period as it had been affiliated to Bangalore University till 2017. However, followed by the trifurcation of Bangalore University by the Government of Karnataka on the basis of location of colleges, the institution is presently affiliated to Bengaluru North University, Tamaka, Kolar. The institution completed 26 years of its establishment and celebrated its silver jubilee in 2018. The institution is granted with 12B status and is accredited in the Third Cycle of NAAC process with ‘A’ grade in 2022. The institution is NAAC re-accredited 'A' Grade with 3.05 CGPA
