Campus Code of Conduct for Students

  • Students should not indulge in any activity which may bring disgrace to the Institution and promise to upkeep the respect of this great institution
  • Students must abide by all the rules and regulations laid by the College
  • Students must attend all the classes with at least 75% of attendance in each subject
  • Students must not be employed anywhere, which affects their regularity to the classes
  • Students must compulsorily attend the class/class tests/quarterly/mid-term/preparatory examinations conducted in the College
  • Students should spend their time in the library/reading room during leisure hour and not idle any time in the campus causing disturbance to the class work
  • Students must stick to deadlines for the submission of Assignments and for presentations 
  • Students should participate in the class work/cultural activities/sports/NCC, NSS activities and abide by the decision of the respective committees
  • Use of mobile phones within the campus for non-academic purpose is prohibited
  • Objectionable behaviour within the classroom and during virtual classes shall be viewed seriously
  • Students should not cause any damage to the property of the college and write or stick any bills or deface them
  • Students shall wear the identity card without fail within the campus
  • Students shall not indulge in activities like smoking/consumption of liquor/drug use etc and that he/she may rusticated from the College for any misbehavior
  • Principal reserves the right to initiate appropriate disciplinary action against misbehaving by students, in consultation with Disciplinary Committee
  • Students shall obey the decision of the Disciplinary Committee in case of any problem regarding discipline
  • Parents must attend the Parent-Teacher meeting whenever convened
  • Students must regularly look into the notice board for updates on matters concerning their interest
  • RAGGING & EVE-TEASING is strictly prohibited within the campus and such acts are punishable under Anti-Ragging Act of
  • Minimize the use of plastic
  • Use water economically
  • Switch-off the lights when not in use
  • Do not waste food
  • Optimize the use of writing paper


 Code of conduct for teaching faculty and administrative staff:

The Institution, a Government entity, functions as per the professional code prescribed by statutory bodies and regulatory authorities. The teaching and administrative staffs need to adhere to the Karnataka Civil Services Regulations, Directives and guidelines issued from time to time by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka, UGC, and Bangalore University.
