The Government first grade College for womens was established in the year 2014 by the notification of Department of Collegiate Education with the auspices of Government of Karnataka.
We had a very humble beginning at the outset with two courses offered for the girl’s students namely Arts and Commerce. At present we have stepped ahead in leaps and bounds in imparting academic education. Presently we have three disciplines viz., Bachelor of arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of commerce offering various subjects suitable for the female students of our region.
