Govt of kanataka decided a degree college at mundgod which is educationaly very backword . And first grade college, Mundgod was started year 1984, the college was established in govt P.U college building initially, due to increase in students strength in the coming year this was lack of accommodation in Govt P.U college. So agriculture marketing committee given it's building on rent bases to run separately degree college in it's building To find a permanent solution to this problem local people of Mundgod approach the Govt to sanctioned revenue land and construct a separate degree college building
