The heart of any academic institution is its library. Even at the Government First Grade College,
Koppa library is an essential space for the academic and professional development of its
students as well as faculty members. The library functions on an open access system for them.
The library is partially computerized the automation process is near completion. The library is
equipped with high-tech CCTV and Electronic Article surveillance system. The library has been
using the EASYLIB, an integrated library management software package with all the modules
for library house-keeping operations, like search, issue/return/renewal, periodical entry, OPAC
etc. The college library has a comprehensive collection of books, periodicals and academic
journals. The library is a proud possessor of over 26,000 study sources which includes books,
journals, news papers, and other non-book materials.
