In the time with the noble sentiments of those heroic souls who laid down their lives for liberating the country from foreign and also in tune with the directive principles of state policy with special emphasis on article 46 enshrined in the constitution of our country which the Government of Karnataka is assiduously pursuing, we the staff of this institution dedicate ourselves to secure unto all the aspirants of higher education without any discrimination of Caste, Class, Creed and Religion, the benefits of higher education so that the being empowered social and economic revolution through rationalistic attitude, spirit of enquiry of scientific temper and rid the country of superstition, obscurantism and other social evils afflicting the humanity from generations. We wish to instill in the hearts of our students the core values of our rich cultural heritage and encourage materialistic pursuits without sacrificing the former and build a strong nation assimilating the social values which help the nation to hold its head high in the comity of nations of the world. We declare that the education provided is accessible to all those who have commitment, affordable by all the sections of the society and the services are available to all who seek and we wish to infuse in our student community the confidence to lead the life in dignity, commitment to pursue the good against all odds and a conviction never to exploit nor ever be a victim of exploitation

It was on this day in 1887, the Indian mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan was born. The mathematical genius Ramanujan was born to a Tamil Brahmin Iyengar family at Erode, Tamil Nadu.
