Code of Conduct for students

1.Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of discipline and dignified manner of behavior inside as well as outside the College campus. They shall abide by the rules and regulations of the College and should act in a way that highlights the discipline     and esteem of the College.
2.Students shall wear clean, neat and formal dress or the approved uniforms.
3.A six day working schedule from Monday to Saturday is followed. Classes are scheduled from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
4.The first period will begin with assembly. The students shall stand in attention till the national Anthem is sung. Those who are standing anywhere in the campus are also expected to follow this.
5.When a teacher enters the classrooms, the students should raise and keep standing until they are asked to sit or until the teacher takes his/her seat.
6.Teachers shall be greeted appropriately with "Good Morning Sir/Miss" or "Good Afternoon Sir/Miss" and a " Thank you Sir/Miss" when the teacher leaves the class room.
7.Students should bring prescribed textbooks to the classes every day. Failing which they will be sent out of the classroom.
8.Students shall move from one classroom to another or get out of the classroom in an orderly manner, without making any noise.
9.Late comers are forbidden from entering the classrooms.
10.Students cannot go out of the classroom without the permission of the teacher concerned during class hours.
11.Students shall wear their identity cards, well displayed. Any teaching staff and non- teaching staff shall have the right to peruse it. Denial of that alone invites disciplinary action.
12.The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited on the college campus. Students who violate this rule will have to face disciplinary action.
13.Students are expected to maintain silence in the academic buildings to maintain the decorum and, any deviant behavior such as hooting, whistling, loitering etc. will be treated as an instance of indiscipline.
14.Students are advised to use the library during leisure hours.
15.Students shall submit all leave applications (Regular & Medical) in time, for sanction by HOD and concerned teachers. Application for medical leave shall be accompanied by valid medical certificates.
16.All the students are expected to attend all college functions in college uniform unless otherwise specified.
17.Students should not deface the blackboards and the walls of the classroom and college or any other activities which will destroy the academic ambience. Such students will be punished.
18.Students should handle the furniture and other properties with care. Damage to the furniture will lead to penalty or suspension from college.
19.Students should stay away from any anti social activities.
20.Without the permission of the Principal, Students are not permitted to circulate any printed materials or pamphlets.
21.Students of both sexes should have a healthy and decent relationship with each other both on campus and of campus. The very spirit of co-education lies in facilitating such a relationship. Any behaviour contrary to this sprit will be considered unlawful and              punishable.

22.Misbehavior towards girl students, use of threat or violence against members of the staff or fellow students will be considered as very serious cases of misconduct.
23.Ragging in any form is a serious offence and it will be dealt with severely.
24.Students shall refrain from any form of Political activity in the College campus. Unauthorized meetings, propaganda work, processions or fund collections are forbidden within the College and outside the college.
25.Students are not permitted to arrange any unauthorized celebrations and decorations of any magnitude in the campus.
26.Consumption of intoxicants / psychotropic substances in any form or smoking or using chewing gum, paan masala etc. are strictly prohibited.
27.Visitors are not allowed to meet the students in the classrooms.
28.Students should take care of their belongings. The institution will not be responsible for any loss.
29.Students should park the vehicles in the place allotted to them
30.Any violation of the above rules will invite penalty in the form of warning, fine, bringing of parents or any course of corrective measure as found suitable by any staff member or higher authority of the College.
