Anti - Ragging Cell


The Anti-Ragging Cell, established according to the regulations of the UGC, ensures that students maintain discipline in the classrooms and within the college campus. Members of the cell regularly monitor the campus to make note of errant behaviour and to make sure that the college campus is free from ragging. The Cell takes severe action against students indulging in such heinous activities.

Students can make use of the suggestion boxes placed near the entrance to make their complaints regarding ragging. They may also approach the members of the cell or any of their other teachers to lodge their complaint.
Punishment to those found guilty

Any student or group of students found guilty of ragging in the campus or even outside the campus shall be liable to one or more of the following punishments
1. Debarring from appearing in any sessional test / University Examination
2. Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges

Objectives of Anti Ragging Committee
Anti-Ragging Committee will be the Supervisory and Advisory Committee in Ragging Free Environment in the college Campus. The Anti Ragging Committee checks places like Hostels, Classrooms and other places of student congregation. Anti-Ragging Committee will be involved in designing strategies and action plan for curbing the Menace of Ragging in the college by adopting array of activities.
