I heartily welcome you to Govt. Science College, Chitradurga which is one of the prestigious and good old colleges under the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Davanagere University. The primary ive of education is to create great academicians, dynamic leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers and professionals who contribute to the development of society and nation. We are committed to maintain high academic standards and preparing our students to secure employment on graduation. At the same time, we believe that our students should develop as an individual, in gaining self-confidence, personality development, leadership skill and developing a sense of endeavor.
The main potential of our college is highly qualified, research experienced and committed faculty. We have grievance redressal cell, a suggestion box, women empowerment cell, caters to the needs of the students whenever necessary. Also, our college has NSS, NCC units & sports facilities. I hope in the future years, our college will be an Excellent College for science education.
