  • Government Arts College, Bengaluru is situated in the heart of Bengaluru city with 5.5 acres of land. It is a 100 year old heritage building with Gothic Architecture. Since its inception,the college has an academic ambience having adequate infrastructure.
  • Class room: It has technology-enabled learning spaces(smart classes), seminar halls, laboratories, specialized facilities and equipment for teaching, learning and research. The College has separate blocks for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Class rooms are spacious, and well ventilated.
  • Bapuji Hall: Audio – Visual equipments are available for all academic and extra-curricular activities: guest lectures, (‘Sankathana’, a week-long lecture series,) awareness programme, graduation day etc.
  • Sports Complex: The college has well equipped multi gymnasium, indoor sports and a moderately good field for outdoor games also.  From 2020-21 the new gymnasium is being used to coach sports like Kabaddi, Rugby and self-defense.
  • Library: The library of the college is fully automated and has open access system, periodicals, e-journals, e-resources along with OPAC system. It has reference section for UG and PG students.  It displays new arrivals of books and journal. Lending of books is done fortnightly.
  • Other amenities :The college is committed to make the stay of differently-abled students comfortable. It  as provides infrastructure facilities like ramp, tactile pavement for visually impaired and library facility in the ground floor etc. A wash room dedicated to differently abled students is functional from the academic year 2020-21.
  • The college quadrangle has a natural greenery with fruit and flower bearing trees adding to the beauty of the heritage building. Cobble stones are laid in the quadrangle for the absorption of rain water.Safe drinking water (RO treated) is being provided from 2021.
