Government First Grade College for Women, Doddaballapura, Bengaluru Rural   561203 came into existence in the year 2014-2015.Today it has grown exponentially and is providing quality education in Arts and Commerce.

         The college is located in the Government High School Building and inter-connected with transportation network. The college is affiliated to Bangalore North University. The college has grown under the guidance of many illustrious principals Prof. Srinivasaiah Nodal Officer, Prof N.D Suresh , Dr. Bharathi Shyamraj and at present Principal is Dr. Sudarshan Kumar M.

The college is bestowed with the stream of intelligentsia with 06 departments with M.Phil and  Ph.D  contributing qualitatively towards the Vision and Mission of the College. The college is mainly concerned with Women education and empowerment. The College has excellent faculty which has made possible to achieve good academic results and enhance the personality of the students. The College has 15 Committees which has tapped the talents of the students. The College has accomplished in various Sports competition and won the medals. The Principal is assisted by efficient Teaching staff and Administrative staff.
