| Since ages Dharwad a famous cultural centre next to Bangalore and Mysore is situated in the Heart of Karnataka. In this city there was a much need for women’s college for the lower income groups so that it tells for equality between man and women. Therefore our Government has sanctioned this very much needed college in the heart of the city during the period 2013-14. The Institution started working on June 2014 with minimum staff in the premises of Higher Primary School No.8, having basic infrastructure. Dr.D.R.Bendre Jnanapeetha Award winner got his primary education in this school. The Institution has given importance to courses like B.F.T, B.A, B.Com affiliated to Karnataka State Women’s University, Vijayapur. The course B.F.T is very much in demand and has got scope for women enterprenuership. On the other hand we are proud to say that even senior member of the city Honourable Mr.Chandrakant Bellad Ex. M.L.A had studied in this prestigious school. We hope this Institution grows into a famous Institution in future.
