About Library

The college library has been established in the year 1984 with the Book collection of 232 only. Gradually increased to 33363 books, CD Roms and some Maps etc. The Library informs, educates, inspires and surprises online as well as offline information. Libraries rich heritage collections, contemporary print and digital materials. The role of the Library is to promote, provide and maintain library and information services for the faculties and students. It is fully equipped with all resources related to syllabus to meet the end-users demands effectively and is identifying and adopting good practices towards providing better services to the users. It is collectively support the teaching, learning and extension activities of the college. All the students and faculty members of the college are entitled to make use of the library facilities on taking library membership.

The Library provides access to information not just to widen the horizons of the users knowledge but also to support a host of their learning activities that range from books, journals, e-journal, databases, project reports, CD/DVDs, magazine and newspapers etc. Further, computers with internet connection facility have been provided for browsing and to use NLIST-INFLIBNET consortia and also ICT facility is available for open access to e-books, e-journals, e-thesis and other e-resources. All library activities are completely automated by using E-Granthalaya 4.0 software with barcode system and WebOPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facility is available online.
