About the College
Government First Grade College for Women Bidar, is the only Women Governement First GradeCollege in Bidar District. Governement First Grade College for Women was established in 2013-14 by the Government of Karnataka to facilitate higher education to the rural and economically weaker section of the Girls. Over the years the Collge has been contributing to the development of academic excellence on Value based, Sound, Liberal education, with modern blend. In the present scenerio the College is consiedred one of the fast growing College in the District. It is situated in area around 2acre land. The College offers UG Courses BA,BCom, BSc with different combinations in subjects. The College has well established Library, it has more than 4000 books and journals and well equiped laboratories. The College staff motivates the students to participate in extra carriculur activities through NSS, Red Cross, Sports, Rovers and Rangers. The College is situated on the Bidar-Aurad road and has a very good road connectivity for the students residing in surounding rural areas. Presently the student stregth of the College is around more 500.
