Strengths:

  • Student centred curriculum delivery practices to enrich the knowledge of heterogeneous group of students.
  •  Facilitating higher education to rural and weaker sections of the society
  • Good support from College Development Committee and College Development Council of the University.
  • Internal Quality Assurance Cell ensures quality enhancement & sustenance initiatives.

Weaknesses:

  • Lack of sufficient infrastructure and inadequate non-teaching staff.
  • Inability to generate sustainable income.
  • Unavailability of college hostel facility for the students.

Opportunities:

  • Being a rural institution, we have great opportunity to educate economically as well as socially backward students.
  • To empower women by providing higher education to rural female students. (Institution has more female students than male students)
  • To enrich rate of employability and access to higher education among rural students.
  •  Exposure to the arena of competitive examinations.
  •  Scope for further strengthening ICT equipped class rooms.
  •  Organizing state and national conferences/seminars/workshops.

Challenges:

  •  Increase the enrolment in Arts discipline.
  •  Unavailability of college hostel facility to students.
  •   Train rural students to be competent enough with city students.
  •   To improve communication (English) and computer skills of students.
