The Governament First Grade college for women Ballari was sanctioned by Government of Karnataka during the year 2013.GO. NO.ED/123/Mahiti/2013.Banglore.31.08.2013. Even before the actual functioning of the college started department of collegiate education had given the additional responsibility of looking after the requirement of the college to Associate Professor of Commerce M.Gopal from SSA GFGC Ballari,as nodal officer, later on it stared functioning during last week of June 2014,with admission of first year degree students, The college administration and activities began in the premises of Govt Girls Junior college near Head post office, station road Ballari. under the leadership of Principal Smt Indira from SSAGFGC Ballari on deputation. Now at present Dr K MALLIKARJUNA Principal of our college who took charge on 31.12.2020
